Parents are one of the most important examples of Catholic Christianity that their children will ever have. During these critical years of development, especially during the Confirmation process, it is important that parents:

• Attend Orientation Meeting in September
• Attend three monthly session as per schedule (2nd Year Confirmation only)
• Make Sunday Mass a priority
• Are actively involved in the Confirmation preparation of the candidate
• Engage their son or daughter in discussion of the material being studied
• Encourage their candidate in the decision to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation
• Pray for their child’s spiritual growth
• Ensure the completion of assignments by their due dates
• Faithfully bring their son or daughter to all eight mandatory class sessions and both scheduled retreats
